Service terms

Review draft · September 22, 2026

Your service

TickerRelay supplies a website ticker and the hosted features agreed for your site. Before paid service starts, your order will identify the seller, website, plan, supported coverage, price, taxes, billing schedule and any beta limits. A separate signed agreement takes priority if it expressly changes these terms.

You must be an adult authorized to act for the website or organization. Keep account information accurate, protect private credentials, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Free Stories and trials

The native Free Stories plugin shows public posts from its WordPress installation. It does not include live scores. Hosted installations and additional sources require an agreed setup.

A seven-day trial starts when we activate the agreed coverage. Requesting a trial does not start it. No card is required, and a trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. Continuing with paid service requires a separate choice and payment authorization.

When hosted access expires, paid feeds stop. Installations that support local Free Stories can continue showing local posts with saved presentation settings. An empty lane is hidden. A hosted-only ticker may disappear if no permitted content remains.

Subscriptions and price changes

If you choose a subscription, the checkout summary will show its recurring price, billing interval, applicable taxes and next payment information before you authorize payment. Subscriptions renew until canceled. We will provide confirmation and access to billing management.

Standard is currently presented at $39 per month for one supported website. Premium’s $79 monthly price is planned and its beta is available only by agreement. Your accepted order, rather than a sample or proposed price, determines your charge. Additional websites or services require a separate agreement.

We propose giving at least 30 days’ notice of a recurring price increase, with the change applying no earlier than the next renewal after that notice. You may cancel before it takes effect. We will not add a new paid service without your agreement.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel future renewals through the billing portal or by contacting Support from the account’s email address. A phone call is not required. We will confirm the cancellation. Unless you request an earlier shutdown, access continues through the paid period.

The proposed refund policy is to refund an initial service charge if we cannot deliver the agreed initial setup, refund a renewal charged because we failed to process a timely cancellation, and refund the unused prepaid portion if we end service without a breach by you. Other partial-period refunds are considered case by case. Nothing here removes a refund or other right required by law.

These refund and notice commitments remain part of this review draft. They must be approved and reflected in the billing process before checkout opens.

Content, sources and beta coverage

You retain ownership of your content and branding. You give us the permission needed to fetch, format, temporarily cache and display the content you configure for your ticker. You must have permission to use content from sister sites and other publishers. A public feed alone does not establish that permission.

We retain original source links for reviewed updates. Initial Premium updates require human approval. Coverage, review hours and topics are agreed before beta access; the beta does not promise round-the-clock reporting or a minimum number of items. We may correct, retract or expire an item.

Scores and third-party information can be delayed, unavailable or corrected. They are for general information, not official results or a guarantee of accuracy. Mentioning a team, league or publisher does not imply endorsement. Planned features, including Stats and Standings, are not included until expressly offered and activated.

Software and acceptable use

The license supplied with the WordPress plugin governs your rights to that code. These service terms do not reduce rights granted by that license. A hosted subscription provides service access; it does not transfer our backend software or a data provider’s private credentials.

Do not use the service for unlawful content, impersonation, infringement, unauthorized data resale, access-control bypasses or interference with other customers. Do not share private feed credentials or represent sample data as current results. Reasonable testing of your own installation is permitted within your authorized access.

We may limit or suspend access to address a security problem, unlawful use, nonpayment or a material breach. Where practical, we will explain the issue and give a reasonable opportunity to fix it. Urgent security or legal action may require an immediate restriction.

Support, privacy and service limits

Contact us through Support for installation problems, billing, corrections or content-rights concerns. Include the affected site and a useful reference, not a secret credential. Support is handled during business days; no response-time or uptime guarantee applies unless expressly agreed.

Our privacy policy describes information handling. Publishers remain responsible for their own site notices and any visitor choices required for their installation. Contact us before sending private audience datasets or content that requires a separate data-processing agreement.

We will use reasonable care to provide the agreed service, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or prevent every error in third-party data. Except for express commitments in your agreement and rights that cannot legally be excluded, the service is provided as available without additional warranties.

Changes and questions

Material changes to paid service terms will be provided before they take effect, with any notice or renewed consent required by law. They will not change an earlier charge retroactively. Contact us with a concern so we can try to resolve it.

Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow an agreement to exclude.
